Welcome to the MainStay! The MainStay Hotel has been a Kulm fixture for over eighty years. The MainStay was originally a rooming house in the city of Kulm. It has had a number of owners over the years and the present owners are Jan and Emery Lindgren who purchased the MainStay in 1996 and have since remodeled it.
	The MainStay maintains its heritage and character as a rooming house in that it has seven bedrooms along with three common baths. There is a lobby with a fridge, microwave, pizza oven, and eighty channel cable. The MainStay is proud to offer high speed wireless internet access to all of its guests at no charge.
	Each room is carpeted and individually decorated to give the MainStay its unique homey appeal. There are pictures of some of the rooms located under the picture link at the top of this page. The rooms of the MainStay are all on the second level. The entire building is non-smoking. The motto for the MainStay is "Where Friends Are Made" and we mean it.
