Rooms in the MainStay have electric heat, and bedding and towels are included with your stay. There are laundry facilities available to our guests. All rooms at the MainStay are non-smoking rooms. All rooms are on the second level so none of the rooms are handicapped accessible. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
The MainStay is made up of seven bedrooms. Six of these rooms contain one queensize bed. The rate for these rooms is $25/night. The remaining room has two regular size beds and is available for $35/night.
Kulm is in one of the prime waterfowl and upland hunting areas left in the continental United States. Hunters form all over the U.S. come to North Dakota, and to Kulm to enjoy the last great bastion of "open" hunting. During the hunting season, which runs from September 15th through November 30th, the cost of each single room is $35/night, tax included, and our double room is $45/night, tax included. To ensure your reservations during the hunting season, the MainStay does require a credit card number. Please understand that because the demand for rooms is extremely high during the hunting season, failure to cancel reservations within 30 days of reservation dates will result in your credit card account being charged for the full cost of your stay. If the MainStay can rent rooms on your cancellation dates, you will not be charged for those rooms, you will be charged for only those rooms that remain unrented. We will work with anyone on an individual basis, and we do have a waiting list for some dates, but you should expect to be charged for any rooms you reserve.
Hunting rates include a heated kennel for your dogs and a cleaning station with a freezer to store any of your game. There is also a large garage to store any gear you may have. A large outdoor grill is also available to our guests to use while at the MainStay.
Visa and MasterCard are our accepted credit cards. Your privacy is very important to us and we do not sell or make public any information we recieve. We also accept personal checks as payments for our rooms.
